Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship

Giá trị học bổng Master's Program Students: 147,000 yen/month; Doctoral Program Students: 148,000 yen/month; Undergraduate students: 120,000 yen/month

Cách thức đăng ký There are two ways of applying for a MEXT Scholarship. The first is through an Embassy Recommendation, by which MEXT requests Japanese embassies and consulate generals (hereafter referred to as Japanese embassies) to recommend students for MEXT Scholarships. The other is through a University Recommendation, by which Tokyo Tech can provide MEXT with a recommendation for awarding MEXT Scholarships.

Yêu cầu của học bổng Qualifications for Undergraduate Students:

Applicant must be 17 or older and younger than 22 on April 1 of the year of enrollment in a preparatory school. Applicant must have completed a 12-year school education or have graduated from a school Applicant must be willing to learn Japanese and receive a university education in Japanese.

Qualifications for Graduate-level Students:

Applicant must be able to arrive in Japan prior to the enrollment period at Tokyo Tech. Applicant must be under the age of 35 on April 1 of the year of enrollment at Tokyo Tech. Applicant must be a graduate of a Japanese university or have the academic ability equal or superior to that of a Japanese university graduate. Applicant must be willing to learn Japanese, interested in Japan and enthusiastic about deepening his or her understanding of Japan.
